  • How the heck did that happen?

I've just walked through my house and there is a mess in every room. Now the kids bedrooms I fully understand, but I only tidied through yesterday and it's all a mess again.
Guess what my next couple of hours will be spent doing.

I know! Here in Northern Ireland the kids have been off since the end of June. I always seem to need to do more washing during the summer too.

My middle one is the only one off as yet. The other two are still there.
To make matters worse, the window cleaner is on his way round.

Traditionally we always tidy the kids bedrooms and sort everything out on the first day of the holidays.

Does it really matter, in the grand scheme of things?

So long as everyone is happy?

A home should be ""clean enough to be hygienic and mucky enough to be lived in" ;-)

Who cares what the window cleaner thinks? I am sure he/she has seen worse

Hang on. So you have all got your kids off already. Mine don't break up until next week. That is so not fair (although I am sure within 5 minutes of them being home they will probably be arguing). I love it when they are home. Oh well, guess I will have to wait impatiently until Thursday.
