  • Wish me luck!

For my dance evening on Friday night. I am doing 2 tap dance routines (thankfully not solos) and one involves me praying that when my hat is supposed to be on my head it doesn't bounce off, and the other involoves me copying someone in front of me!! I really have problems remembering the majority of the second dance. I'm going for the 'if I don't know it by now I never will' approach to it! At least I always face the right direction and travel in the right direction so it's not a total disaster!

Good luck Indri - although I am sure you won't need it! If anything goes awry, just dance it out and make it look deliberate!!

Good Luck Indri. We don't call our's mistakes they are 'variations' on the dance and so much more convincing if you are at least facing the same way as everyone else LOL Break a leg as they say.

What is the occasion Indri. Is it open to the public, will there be a big audience or is it just within your school. I am sure it is nerves and you will be fine on the night.

It's in a social club. All the Coventry adult education dance groups are doing a routine, except ours which has 3 routines to do (but I chickened out of the difficult one!). Most of us are taking someone along for moral support! I suppose it could be worse. I could be doing it on rollerskates like Gene Kelly.

I think that might be a little easier than rollerskates!
