  • Does anyone use Bio Oil ?

Hi all, I just wondered if anyone used Bio Oil. I read an article recently that it was good for uneven skin tone and good for the d├ęcolletage, opinion welcome.

I have tried it but didn't notice any improvement especially, and read an article recently that said it didn't do what it said at all.

I haven't used it personally but a couple of friends have used it on operation scars and they said the scars did start to fade and the skin softened (which I guessing must be linked to each other) although apparently you have to use it for 3 months to get effective results.

I used it to help reduce some pretty nasty scarring after surgery, and had good results. My sister uses it in the bath and swears by it for soft skin.

i use it often, not noticed much difference for uneven skin tone, i still have darker patches of skin, but works well for dry skin and makes my skin soft. have used it on small scars too.

yep I use it, not on scars but i have sun spots and Im more than sure I see a difference.
What annoys me about the recent adverts is that they dont actually say what it is for, its just a woman saying how good it is whilst watering the plants!!

I used it on my Grandson, his heart surgery scar was really red, and all the other kids were asking him about it, got him all embarassed. Took all the redness away, and softened the skin, daughter used it on stretch marks, faded them as well.
Gets the thumbs up from me.

Can't comment on Bio Oil, Vit E cream, however is good for reducing scars etc.
Slightly off topic but hopefully useful for anyone undergoing surgery - take your daily does of Vit C about a week before surgery and a few weeks after, it dramatically aids the bodies ability to heal.
