  • I feel awful.....

.............. really bad, went to the god awful craft fair at Callander yesterday but I have had a really sore throat all weekend. I am now coughing and it is really hurting. Think I have a chest infection - stuck in the day job and I feel like crap.

I suppose coming back from the glorious weather in Spain then spending 2 days in a cold field doesn't help though does it.

Go on feel sorry for me - cause I feel sorry for myself.

    Cheers.

But at least you are feeling rotten at the day job - there's nothing worse that feeling rotten in your own time, and feeling fine at the day job

If I were you I would go home from the day job. Best not to give it to anyone else..and you'll feel better in your own home with nice cup of tea.
                Get well soon.

Thanks guys, I know I can always rely on you all to cheer me up.

I am going to go home soon, get the biggest bar of chocolate I can lay my hands on to see if it is true that it cures a sore throat. If it doesn't at least I will feel better having eaten the chocolate. I will get soluble paracetamol and then hibernate - well until tomorrow anyway.

                  Thanks again all.

                    Alcohol will numb the pain
And then the hangover will stop you thinking about sore throat
But a long hot bath and lots of sleep will work wonders too!

                    Hope you feel better soon!
