Last day of work........

........for a whole 3 weeks - I finish up work today because I am going on holiday on Tuesday (have I told you that - must be dementia kicking in).

Quite busy up until then - both Nicola and myself have our annual dancing display tonight so I am just about ready to pass a brick!!! Schools out today up here so can't wait to see Nicola's face when she comes out the school gates to get picked up in the limo with her friends.

I am finishing work at 12pm today because the schools are out at 1.00pm and I can tell you I am demob happy - and they think they will get work out of me today!!!!

Alcudia - I am going with the kids, my mum and dad and my wee brother. Hubby isn't going cause he is self employed and can't get time off just now.

We are all going because it is my dads 70th birthday so going over the celebrate. Looking forward to it but totally dreading it too - my brother drives me absolutely nuts - and with an over bearing mother I am going to have to bit my tongue for a whole 2 weeks.

Luckily though we have 2 rooms so I will be in one room with the kids and my mum, dad and brother will be in the other - so at least some breating space.

Oooh, Lisa, I've just come back from Puerto Pollensa which is the next bay along (Sommerwood - it's the top of Majorca) and the weather was mostly good. We had rain for about an hour one day but everyone was back round the pool as soon as it finished. We went to the water-park one day too. It was chuffing cold stood at the top of those slides dripping wet with the wind blowing I can tell you - but great fun all the same! Take care in the sea. Even though this was our third time going to Pollensa, we had no idea that there are jelly-fish that live in the shallows under the sand. My little one got stung by one and ended up in the doctors So just bear it in mind!
