      Noooo I saw a reply and thought you'd come up with the answers Paula I even googled to find the name of rivers to no avail - my brain just doesn't do the cryptic thing...far too logical me obviously.

      BTW Indri do let us know what the answers were as it's bugging me now

          ahhh! I read it wrong, thought each letter was a new word!! Not just missing letters - going to re-study it now!!

            I'll let you know answers when I know them... its a prize crossword... but I'm always stick on the last few clues! With Acanthus being the answer to one of them that means we have an extra letter here:

              I got all excited because I got the answer to the plant one but someones already got it. I was feeling so proud of myself. Will go back to racking my brain (instead of doing the mountain of work I should actually be doing).
