I know how you feel, we had similar problems with Talk Talk a while ago..they were so bad we moved suppliers in the end. Can't run an internet business with no internet connection!!

I know. When the engineer came out I said I have been with NTL for about a hundred years (well that's what it feels like). Never had a problem with them. Since the virgin switch we changed package and got the 4 for £40. We have had nothing but problems. They couldn't get the billing right for a start - kept billing us too much (now theres a surprise). The digibox went down for a week but rest assured their engineers knew about it and it would be sorted by the following Monday (bearing in mind this was the previous Monday - not good having no telly and 2 kids for a week). Then the broadband went down. A fault in the area (again!!). When they guy came out he was so fed up hearing the same story about Virgin cause he had worked for NTL for years. He said to me he was so fed up he was going to chuck his job.

Told me that if he couldn't sort out the problem he would have to dig up my garden and the street all the way back to the box. Told him no F****G way was that happening. Funny how quickly he fixed the signal after I told him he could talke the whole lot back!!!! It is up and running now - well until the next time.

            Sorry waffling on.

Sometimes, if i really think back, i can remember a time before the internet.
What did we do with ourselves in those days?
              Does anyone else ever wonder?
Remember having no mobile phone so you just had to darn well be home on time (not ringing up saying 'i'm now on my way') or mum and dad would ground you for a week.
And how did we know where everyone else was?
How many times have we rung/answered the mobile to the question 'where are you?'
Computers have literally taken over the world, not sure if it's a good thing or not.....
Just a random thought for a wed morning

Very deep, but very right, remember when I first started going out with my hubby. I was on holiday in Cornwall with my parents and I drove them nuts by always wanting to be at a phonebox at a certain time so I could phone him!!!

I suppose as Orwell said - big brother is watching!!.

                Cheers.
