What a wise Mom you are. Its a dreadful feeling when you have to leave them though. Breaks your heart. I think you cry more than them. When It was my turn to take the G/kids, the little tinkers used to hang on to me like glue. I think I cried more than them but, bless their hearts, the nursery used to phone me just after I had left to tell me that they were OK and had forgotten all about it.

PS. I forgot to look at your pics. Arn't they lovely.

Aww Charlie, what a pair of cuties

The tears are definately to make you feel bad, they all do it lol. Generally, stops as soon as you get out of the door..

My daughter started nursery in January at the tender age of 7 months. She now absolutely loves it. The staff are pretty good, though hubby has termed 2 of them the angels of death because when we pick her up they say "she's had a really good day today" then let me look at her book then say "but...." and follow it up with "she's been really teary" or "she was a bit sick a moment ago but maybe that was because I was jogging her up and down..." or other random things. Usually she's cranky when she's tired and I think the "angels" are only just finguring that one out!

Its nice to see the funny side ... this morning she did her high pitch scream that really only dogs can hear .... whilst Big Ron (who just turned 1) was off playing lol ... It took Tyler a good month to adjust to School life so I suppose I've got a few weeks left yet with Macy Mai ... oh well x

When I had my eldest Tyler he went to a private nursery at the age of 1 because I was working full time still ... I hated it because he could never tell me what went on ... nothing changes though now at the age of 5 the only thing he tells me is who he sat next to for lunch and who was on the grey cloud lol ... such a tell tale x

I was so lucky with both my two when they started nursery. The one with the tears was me!! both of mine on their first day turned and waved and said "bye Mum" and were off without a backwards glance. Made me feel very surplus to requirements I can tell you.

Having seen many children over the years clinging to their mums and crying their eyes out, I now see how lucky I was that my two were happy to go off on their own adventures.

Ah! Both mine started nursery at around 6 months as I work full time (althugh they were not there full time) and both love it! Jacob leaves nursery on 2 September as he starts school the following Monday (on his fifth birthday!) so I think I'll be crying my eyes out at nursery as the boys will have been there (between them) for 6 and a half years!!!

Samuel took to school very well - on the second day he told us not to wait and look to see if he'd gone in ok - just go home - he said!! Hope Jacob will be the same!!

Here are some pics of Samuel on his first day at school - http://tiptoptoppers.blogspot.com/20...at-school.html

Aaawww Bless her. I'm sure she'll make really good friends soon and wouldn't even want to come home from nursery then you'll be crying lol... I know it must be very hard and heartbreaking to leave your crying baby in the nursery, although no personal experience just yet.
