  • A day in the Lakes!!

Just had agreat day out in the lake district today, went to whinlatter forest park and climed a mountain, feel great for the change of scenery. Would share theview with you but dont know how to get a picture on here when it is not off a website!!!

Bought myself a lovely Amber necklace from the gift shop, have wanted one for ages, was not too expensive, wanted one for £60 that had a bug inside the amber but settled for a £13 one minus the bug.

oh lovely! It sounds like you had a great day, we went biking in Rendlesham forest - no UFO's to report but it was a good day out

I think i say Peter say earlier that you can post the picture by clicking the picture icon and when the url window pops up copy and paste the page url into it...

I think you only have a url if it is a picture off a website not off a camera, im not sure.

Haha well depending on what program you are using you can either just resize the pic but make sure you tick the box that says keep the height / width ratio, or there may be an option when you save it to compress the file a little? I find 30% is usually good enough without distorting the image... The ones i did a minute ago were on my phone so not the best but they tend to be smaller.

I was confused about this for a while too so here's some instructions on the photo bit. If you click on manage attachments which is at the bottom of the message section (when you are typing your message) you will get a page that opens with two options. One is upload a picture from a url but the other one is upload from your computer. From there it should be easy.
Before I figured out how to do this I'd been trying to use the insert image button just above where you type - I was getting very frustrated at not being able to upload photo's.
Hopefully we will get to see pictures soon!!
