Tonight Im going to see a friend and she usually offers me a snack in the evening but luckily she is quite healthy and has 'diet' equivalents in her cupboards.
Admittedly she dances once a week but she snacks more than I do and is miniscule!!

      Red wine
      White wine
      Rose wine
      Lager
      Chocolate
Chinese takeaway (only had one this weekend)

Those are my main weaknesses when it comes to high calorie food/drink

One word covers it all for me...

        alcohol!

Not that I'm addicted or anything, but a nice glass (or 2) of red on a night is my idea of heaven.

I think the best thing we can do is find substitutes. But what on earth can take the place of a drink or a takeaway.
Sometimes I DO want to feel like a blob and just veg out.

I think we need to train ourselves that the treat ISNT the junk food or the wine but the apple and the steamed vegetable and we will feel better on our insides........................................... ....anybody believing that rubbish?

Sorry, no takers here. I'd rather go without dinner so i can have a take away that night.

              Mmmmm, takeaway.

The last few times ive only bought the battered sausage and chips instead of the usual chines rice, chicken etc, and ive not enjoyed it.Good in a way.

                Beeeeeeeeeeeer!!!!

Crisps preferably kettle crisps, the large bags,

The large jam and cream scone i had while on a course today, well it would have been rude to say no

There are no substitutes for any of these things.

Huh you all think you've got problems.
I have made about 200 litres of ice cream this week for the shop.

And of cooooooooourse i have to quality test it.
                  On a regular basis.

Then there's the new cream soda floats we had to test, and the new luxury sundae menu....... oh it took aaaaaaages to get them right..

And the hot waffles with whipped cream, hot chocolate sause and ice cream...
Good job i do a lot of excersise or i would be the size of a very large container ship..

Red wine. If I was given a non-alcoholic drink with the same calorific values I would decline, its just empty calories, no value whatsoever so why do I enjoy it so much? Mind you one glass is supposed to be good for the heart.....more than that not so good for the liver. The only time Im without a glass in my hand in the evenings is when Im working nights!!!

If I don't have it in the house then I can't eat it but when chocolate/biscuits/rubbish food is in the house then I MUST eat it. My sister came to visit the other day and brought some mars bars with her (left over from last year at the campsite she works at) and I ate one as she produced them and one when I came in from nursery even though I wasn't hungry. Matt came downstairs and threw the lot in the bin!! I can be good as long as it's not in the house and when Matt is away and I want a snack I can't have one as I can't leave the house with the girls being asleep! Which is good really
Having said that though I seem to have swapped chocolate in the evening for wine - and just having come back from France with a boot nearly full, then it's not good news for my waistline

My downfall is the red wine - sometimes it gives me the munchies as well, but mostly it's just the wine itself. Really do love that red stuff!!!!

                          Right, where do I start,

Wine (all varieties, I'm not fussy),
Vodka (okay I take diet mixers),
                          Brandy (ditto)
any alcohol really although I do call a hault at Buckfast!!!

Indian currys - Chicken Jalfrezi my particular favourite,
Chinese takeaways - Singapore garlic chilli chicken,
                          Pizza
again I draw the line at kebabs particularly donners. I think the people who work in the kebab shops walk around all day in golf spikes and come the end of the shift they scrape off the crap from the spikes and mould it into a lovely donner kebab (sorry if you like them but "YUK").
                          Chocolate (duh obviously),
                          Crisps,
                          Nuts
Do I need to go on - everything that is bad for you I like!!
