Awwww - I love cats but I'm allergic otherwise we would have some. Lived with one for 10 years when I younger but was constantly sneezing! I'll have to love them from afar......
I don't let them go until they're 12 weeks, which is when they are naturally ready to go. They won't be dependant on mum then for pesonal care & feeding, but they will still need to be mothered, which is when they form a strong attachment to whomever gives them a home and their owner gets a very affectionate cat. I'm a bit fussy about that too, and prospective owners get the Spanish inquisition.....if they can't or won't answer the questions, then no kitten
