  • Typical!!

The day I have things to do and am counting on Tara sleeping for a couple of hours like she normally does - she wakes up in the post office and is not going back to sleep Hmmm - I'll ignore her for another 5 mins as she is getting quieter and hope that it works!!!

    You Think That's Bad...

Teenagers are much much worse.....wait til they hit puberty! Book yourself into the looney bin now, while you still have a mind to do it.....

I couldn't cope with babies & toddlers any more. Far too out of practice, so you mums out there with young 'uns have my deepest admiration.

Forget the planned jobs, go play with your baby...much more fun and very rewarding...they aren't babies long enough!

I agree with Jules, ow Teenagers my eldest is 14 going on 40 and my youngest is 11. They don't stay babies for long because I am sure it was only yesterday I had them!!!

Conner wants to go into town on Saturday to the cinema - he has no pocket money left - who is going to fund his expedition - mummy and daddy dearest. Need to go out and find a money tree to keep up with him. Ow god what am I going to do when my daughter wants to go out herself!!!

I suppose I will be in the

        Oh dear!

        I have to agree!
As a baby/Toddler i was an angel, but a soon as 13 hit i turned into the spawn of satan i swear.
Later in my life i did apoligise to my mum for what i put here through but im afraid girls are the worst by a mile!

I was goos as a teenager (relatively anyway) but Anya has got mine and my dads temper so I'm not looking forward to teenage years at all!! Tara didn't go back to sleep but she has been 'helping' me with her christening cards and on the computer!

            My Boys Are Great...

The daughter was 17 last sunday....and she's more difficult than her three brothers added together.

It doesn't help that she was baby #2....had she been the oldest or youngest of our four, I think life would be different.

She's headstrong, stubborn and deeply independent. She's also very beautiful (doesn't look like me) and it's an awful combination in today's world, especially as she's also very petite. I spend my life with my heart in my mouth where her social life is concerned. I'm just thankful that most times when she's out, it with her b/f, who's a great lad and a lot more sensible.

We can't lecture her about safety etc etc, she knows it all. In the world according to Philippa, she knows EVERYTHING, and we are just silly, senile parents.

I don't think I'll ever be able to stop worrying about her. My mum still worries about my sister & I......no idea why though
