Go on then say that in english for the less intelligent morsals in the forum.... What is isp????
We have recenly got broadband and to be quite honest it dosn't seem much diferent to the way it used to be....
AOL, which is fine for us and we've had no problems. But my brother swears by Tiscali, he's even got my parents using them. My sister has TalkTalk, and she says its crud.
isp = internet service provider. DON'T USE ORANGE!!! I transferred from Tiscali, and they were even worse for crashing and not getting online. Have a look at http://www.thinkbroadband.com , register, and look at isp providers ratings. If I'd known about this I wouldn't be on Orange now!
We're with NTL (or Virginmedia or whatever they're calling themselves now) and don't have too many problems. They've got a really good deal at the mo, broadband, phone line and mobile for £30 a month - we'd go for it except Virgin's mobile reception is pretty much non-existant round here
Also, whatever you do don't go with Pipex - from my experience they are completely inept and downright rude when you contact them...I could write a thesis on the problems we've had with them.

I use talk talk and never had any problems but that might be some thing to do with i pay for the service (£10 per month) as i don't live within the area that they do it for free.
Talk Talk are terrible! We have had nothing but trouble with them, I look forward to seeing who you decide on and what they are like as we need to move before I blow my stack!!
Anice xx
My parents use tiscali, in fact I know quite a few who do. My friend has switched from NTL to btinternet as NTL were pants (great big elasticated ones). Tiscali seem quite good.
We've been contemplating broadband, but hear of so many horror stories. Our dial-up is with Toucan and it's been ok so far, we don't have our phone with them or anything else. I might have a look at their broadband as I like their attitude
Typical, i've only gone and ruined my broadband connection by bragging that i don't have any problems with it. Well since posting my earlier reply to this thread my internet connection has failed me on numerous occasions, i have to keep turning my modem off and re-booting it. Just my luck!
