has passed away.

He was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008 and sadly passed away yesterday.

Patrick Swayze, 18th August 1952 - 14th September 2009, just 57 years old.

RIP to a fantastic actor and a very brave man.

That is so sad. My Dad died of Pancreatic cancer only 55 years old. It was a awful painful cancer. I hope Patrick is at peace now. R.I.P.

It is very very sad... he was a fantastic man, I grew up watching Dirty Dancing, and it's still one of my all time favourite films... and yes I did have a crush on Jonny Castle

I've also just heard that Keith Floyd has passed away, aged 65 years. RIP.

That's such sad news, he was such a great actor, I love Dirty Dancing, but I like all of his films I've seen, especially Roadhouse

My father-in-law died of pancreatic at 57 years old too - it's an awful disease and Patrick Swayze was very brave to keep working through it, he must've been in so much pain.

My favourite movie of his was The Outsiders.

Very sad on both counts especially patrick swayze i had his poster all over my walls when I was younger. I was only watching a programme on Keith Floyd last night with Keith Allen. I was struck by how old he was looking in it. RIP both.

I only read recently an extract of Keith Floyd latest book.I used to watch his cooking programs more for entertainment that the cooking. RIP Keith
