Not something you see in every livingroom......
Years ago, when I was little...so about 33 years ago, my parents used to take us to a lovely pub in Cotton End, where there was a garden. A bottle of coke with a straw & a packet of Walkers...what a treat!
We lived at Shortstown, my Dad was RAF.

Lovely Memories...
Those summer evenings, the light as I remember it, was always a peachy pink, and the air was warm. I can remember the noise of peple chatting and laughing, but no traffic noises, no sirens.
I know I was only 7 or so, but I do think it was quieter then. Life was slower paced and more relaxed. I used to wander for miles around the local countryside, which is something my children can't do these days. Sometimes, 'progess' isn't always good.
Great memories, Seahorse, great memories....

11' 4" x 11' max. (3.45m x 3.35m max.) Double glazed entrance door. Gas coal effect fire with back boiler for central heating and hot water. Carpet. Power points. Television aerial point. Radiator. Double glazed window to front.
No mention of the grim reaper in the corner then!!
