Info: Stop third party advertisers on facebook

My friend has just posted this in her facebook status:


ALERT: Facebook has agreed to let third party advertisers use your posted pictures without your permission. Click on "Settings" up at the top where you see the "Logout" link. Select "Privacy". Then select "News Feed and Wall". Next, select the tab that reads "Facebook Ads". In the drop down box, select "No One". Then save your changes. Do it now. Help your friends...cut and paste this into your status.

I hope this isn't old news, I'm usually the last to know when it comes to technology lol.

I think this is a few weeks old. I remember them putting something up on your home page saying we have decided to postpone this idea for now, or words to that effect. I doubt anyone would want pictures of me tho so im not particularly concerned lol!
