  • One very lucky hubby!

What a nightmare weekend! My hubby is a builder and has one of those magnetic sign thingys on the side of his truck. Last Thursday he took it off and the wind caught it and it hit him in the eye and actually made a hole in his cornea. Anyway rang NHS direct on Thurs they said keep it covered etc and we were at A & E at 7am on Fri. Antibiotic cream and a patch and no driving or work for a few days. Thankfully it has healed up nicely now and he can drive today but he is so lucky he is not blind! The job he's doing at the moment is jinxed, his mate had a mild heart attack yesterday while they were working but he is also OK thankfully, is it time for bed yet, I'm shattered!!! Selina

Oh, bless you sweet. Good to hear that he's ok now. Hope they get the job done quick.

Hope he feels better soon! What a nightmare those magnetic thingies are - I had 2 on my car and one flew off somewhere on the M25 so I really hope it did no harm - the other now resides on my fridge - fat lot of good there but at least not a lethal weapon.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear of your hubby's accident, and of course his colleague's heart attack... glad to hear that they are both ok though.

Sounds like the job they are working on is a bit of a nightmare!!!
