If anybody has ever thought about getting any embroidery done to advertise their business, now would be a great time to help me out and get me some brownie points.

I remember some poeople being kicked out of employment many years back.....but they became Ghostbusters......I suppose I shouldnt rule it out.

Im going to drown my sorrows in crisps and chocolate(but theres nothing different there)and Im going to do some crafting to cheer me up.I got a package in the post today(delivered to my hands by my 1 year old niece)so I have sparkly things to look at and a couple of ideas to try out.

However, should the worst come to the worst, we started working full-time for our own business (three of us), following redundancies almost two years ago - and we're still here, with roofs over our heads and food on the table.

It wasn't easy (still isn't - being self employed is really hard, despite what some might tell you), but there may well be an unexpected silver lining hidden in there somewhere!

Definitely let us know what happens, though, as I'm sure you'll get plenty of support from the lovely folks here!

Whatever happens don't let negative thoughts intrude.
If you keep your job you are lucky - be overjoyed.
If you loose your job it's a brilliant oportunity to move on, try something new, or have a go at doing it on your own. Look on it as revitalising, exciting, invigorating.......and if it all goes pear shaped - character building.

Im loving the idea of a whole new life/work path but its the paying for my car/general bills/crafting obsesssion thats the worrying thingIm not being paid a fortune at the moment but its a nice amount of money to keep me afloat.
Admittedly I dont have anything like a mortgage to pay so in that way Im lucky but itl mean having to dig into my savings which I hated doing last time as its money for the future.
