My kitty back from her spay op

My poor girly is back. She needs a coller on as she wont leave her stitches alone. I tried her without it but she wont leave them. Iv kept Milo away too. He said hi to her through the carry box though. She really doesnt like the coller (what cat does!) and isnt settling at all. She keeps wandering about giving me the most evil looks!

Isn't she beautiful! Aw poor thing When my little yorkie had her done it was underneath on her belly, so luckily she couldn't get to it. I wonder why they are both in different places...or is that a daft question?! Anyhoo I hope she feels better soon.

That is a lovely neat scar there, the vet obviously did a very good job.

Don't know about dogs but that is the place where all the female cats I have had (and know of) have had their stitches.

She is probably giving you evil looks because she is sore, wouldn't you be after having the same done to you!

Give her a day or so and I am sure she will forgive you, just keep telling her it is for her own good

Yeah she is sore, poor thing. Shes crashed out now, eventually. I think il need to keep the cats seperated tonight. Milo did try to sniff at her stitches once and she told him what for and he hasnt been near them since. But il still seperate them. Itl be hard though. They are never apart and when i brought her home and kept him away at first he was almost bashing hte door down.

aw bless, I didn't separate my cats when they were "done", just watch them together for a while and see what happens, they may be better off being together as they have both been through a stressful time and the more you can get things back to normal the better.

What a lovely cat, give her a big love from me, she will be fine in a couple of days. I always find it amazing how quickly animals recover from operations, It is a hysterectomy after all x
