  • Finished!!!

No more looking at eggs to see if they have hatched now until next year! I have finally finished work so will be enjoying a bit of a rest before the other real work kicks in .

Bit wierd to think I won't be having to go in and get frustrated by hoards of students and researchers, but I'll probably get used to it and then hate the idea of going back in January!

Well put your feet up & enjoy the rest - while you can!

13th May, though they are rarely correct! I've got plenty to keep me occupied for the next 6 weeks while I wait for it to arrive including some baking so I have a nice selection of cakes in the freezer for when I'm a bit too busy or tired for a baking session!

is it only 6 weeks to the 13th then????? oh dear another year older for me then!!!

Have a good rest, you never know it might not be 6 weeks could be less (or more!)

All exciting stuff, let's see how long it takes before you start cleaning the house from top to bottom and doing all the ironing and washing and windows etc aswell as the baking!!!!

Luckily I've got quite a busy Easter (socially) so will be enjoying myself to begin with! Once the schools are back then I'll be more likely to be cleaning the house (if I am feeling up to it).

Resting hasn't happened much so far.... we cleaned the fish tank out this afternoon - like major clean. The fish are all gone (they died off one by one over the last year) so we are going to reset the tank and get some more fish in eventually. At least it is now clean

Hopefully will get some rest, but I'm my own worst enemy and can't sit still for too long before I have to do something. Maybe I'll just have to spend extra time on here!!! (and possibly get some quilling done).
