Sorry to hear your feeling this way, did you have any luck replacing the fair that had been cancelled?
Maybe if you had something to aim for again, you seemed as though you were buzzing with anticipation before the cancellation?
Hope your feeling happy soonCome in here more and keep talking, take a look at the Funny Baby post, thats sure to bring a smile.

Hi
Make a list - write it down - of all the people you wouldn't want to be and why.
You will soon realise you are glad you are you
Go for a jog around the park - hope you are feeling brighter soon.

Aww hun, sorry you're feeling this way, it's so tough. I often feel alone here as I work from home and don't have many friends close by, so I know where you're coming from. But I have made some lovely friends on the forum, and I do consider them friends, and there's always someone on here who can cheer you up.
I find crafting helps too, as I get so absorbed and the time flies by.
Take care & keep talking to us

Sorry to hear that Debs.
I know how you feel, I have suffered from depression since moving away from family four years ago, I get really lonely as I dont really have any friends here.
I think you just have to keep busy doing anything! Whether its crafting or cleaning. And get fresh air, whilst off work I spent about three hours walking around town and being near people every day. If I didnt go out the next time i did i would get a panik attack.
Be possitive and feel free to chat.

Maybe learning to drive could give you a focus and open up a lot more oppertunities to you when you pass your test?
I know it was the best thing I ever did!

((((hugs)))) I know how you feel, my family is all in South Africa and my friends scattered to the 4 corners of the world.
If you are going back to America then learning to drive here may not be ideal - although its so easy to drive here as everything is clogged up with traffic!
How about a long walk in the sunshine spent thinking about all the friends and family you will reunite with and think of all the fab things you will be going back to. Of course there are some things you will be leaving behind good and bad but perhaps some time spent thinking of happy things may just help?
Hope you feel happier soon! You are definitely not alone
