Successful Car Boot!

Well, it's cold, raining and there were only 15 cars there (normally about 100!) but we still made £70 in 3 hours!

Can't believe it, just getting rid of some old junk, baby clothes, uncle's ornaments etc... and made a packet for us!

Wish I could spend it on craft stuff, but have to put it towards the new kitchen

that's great! i have loads of old "junk" that i need to get rid of. my partner and i are moving to Australia in less than a year and i think a car boot sale is on the cards! i hope we are as successful as you were! ^_^

It's been ages since I've done a car boot but I'll do a couple this year to get rid of some stuff.

I've found that I've often done better when there are fewer cars there than normal, as there's less for the customers to choose from so it really works in your favour

Less cars seemed to work for us They do them every Sat and Sun here in Plymouth, and all year round!

Might try and scrape together some more stuff for one in the summer!
