I think there's a lot of people glad to see him go.

Obama appears to instill confidence in a lot of people and I think he'll be good for your country.
    A very historical day indeed

Just watched the inauguration ceremony Think he's going to be a great president.

Made my 8 year old daughter watch it too, it's her birthday today and I wanted her to know that something of huge historical significance was happening on her birthday.

It's a truly special day, for the world, not just the usa. Congratulations on choosing a president that might actually make a difference.

I have to say that I will be sad at no more Bush though... he was funny if nothing else, lmao.

Here, Here!! What a fantastic ceremony it's been too, just sat through it, Obama comes across so well. Stood next to Bush, he just exudes power, confidence and hope for the future.....everything Bush did not!! Go Obama!!

I agree, he has great ideas and I would love to see him succeed, but things take time and are the public going to give him that time??

I thought while watching the inauguration," well at least he is easy on the eye, not like all the other!!!!" So again I agree with Buffy on that too

So glad to see the back of Bush and to see an intelligent ARTICULATE man in his place irrespective of his colour. I tried to explain to my 12 year old about separation in the past and just how poorly black people were treated so that he would understand the historical significance of a black President. Made me realise just what injustice has been done in the past. Let's hope he can live up to the promise that he's shown

Also really happy to see Bush go. To be honest, Bush makes it easy on any new president to look good, so not much of a challange to Obama.

Lets just hope he sorts out the mess in the ME as soon as possible with some tough love shown to both the Arab side AND the Israeli side. I mean, there is clearly no way they will sort it out by themselves so the only way is to get a third party involved. Good luck Obama.
