I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't been so organised for that Christmas just past. Thankfully I had all my gifts and extras in well in advance. Just as well really cos I did so many fayres in Nov/Dec and had lots of last minute orders to do that I'd have been tearing my hair out otherwise.

How on earth can anyone be so organised for Christmas when it's only January? lol

I always say that I 'want to be more organised next year' but I doubt I'll ever be that organised!!

Well done though, as long as you're not like me and put everything in safe places never to see the light of day again!!!

Keep the book on your desk or in your handbag perhaps?

Oooh. You've got me thinking now lol... do you use Microsoft Excel?

You could make up a spreadsheet with details such as...

What the gift is, who it's for, where it's being kept, how much it cost, etc

And then the spreadsheet would be stored on your computer and you wouldn't run the risk of losing it to a safe place lol.

How geeky do I sound now?!

OMG I am soooo impressed with all that Christmas stuff you have got organised! It makes so much sense to do it now while you have got more time and everything is reduced - I wish I could get motivated to do the same!

The only thing that is a shame is that it is always more fun shopping for pressies when the Christmas music is playing everywhere, people caroling outside etc. Not quite the same in gloomy January!

Where did you get the Wicker baskets with Santas from? They sound really nice, I want some!!!!

I think you have to be prepared when you do lots of fairs , i did 13 fairs plus a workshop and only had one weekend off to do my present shopping !
So this year i decided to be more organised , i have got all the christmas cards for the kids to send out and a lovely few card kits for me to make up , wrapping paper and loads of gift sets in the sales plus i have started saving for Christmas already only a fiver a week but by November i should be doing ok if i need to buy anymore presents or treats !!

I am also making more things for family this year .. quilts and bags etc !

It does feel good to now i am not going to be in the mad panic like last year !!

I bought my first Christmas present today! Never bought a pressie before November before, but this year has to be different.

My husband gets a large bonus mid december, and this year it paid off all the Christmas pressies - next year I want to save that bonus, so planning to buy a pressie every month!
