Me too! It amazes me that so many people have money to throw around on such pointless items. Ok if you would like to see an impressive display..go it a professional firework display, not let off a load of noisy junk in your back gargen thats probably cost you £50.00!

It could help to put them in the cat carrier you use for the vets with a blanket so they can burrow under it. My cats haven't been too bad, but the Collie is terrible with bangs - last night was better than it has been because he's 13 and a lot more deaf than he was last year!
I don;t have any pets, only the husband, but yep I still hate fireworks night. I am ok with people going to the organised displays, but it was like Beirut round near us last night and they were still going well past midnight. Hate to sound like a party pooper but it really is out of order and so inconsiderate. I too ownder how on earth people can afford them, and would want to waste their money on something so expensive that lasts seconds!! I really hope it isn't as bad tonight as its work tomorrow and hate having my sleep interrupted!!!
Tonight is even worse then last night bangs and pops i expect they will still be going off all the comming week till the shops run out of them.I hope it pours of rain but i dont think so do you.
