I am sitting here watching one of my cats while he washes my dogs head! My dog is a gentle giant, he is a German Short-haired pointer who gives in gracefully when my two cats boss him around. This cat also follows us when we go for a walk whereas the other one likes nothing better than to curl up in the dog bed alongside my dog. Annyone else got cute pets?

I have a darling cat who is nearly twenty, very frail, but very faithful, who sits by the settee miaowing until I sit sit down, so that she can get onto my knee to curl up and purr the night away - I love her to bits. You can see her picture by my name, she is called Kitty and my username is in honour of her.

I have a totally ridiculous labradoodle called Bingley. He looks part sheep, part dog, and part teddy bear. He is totally soppy. He'll be 3 in March. On the downside he'll eat anything, and I mean ANYTHING, the more revolting the better as far as he's concerned so he often gets sick.

Oh Elinor, he's gorgeous, I'm in love

I've got a spoilt Border Terrier called Skye, she's such a baby and cries for attention & to sit on my lap, which I make worse by letting her, my DD tells me off for spoiling her. But saying that, she is well behaved & very, very cute, she has the "putting-the-chin-on-her-paws-and-looking-up-at-you-through-her-eyebrows" look down to a T.

Jan, Skye looks adorable too! And she is spoilt, look at her on your bed! I love dogs. My daughter desperately wants a cat, but my OH hates them so that's a no, sadly for her. She does have 3 gerbils though called Zack, Cody and Jumpy Egg (guess which one my 5 year old son named!).

We rescued an adorable stray kitten when we were in Mallorca last summer and found it a good home with a friend of my mum's. My daughter called him Kitty and he's been renamed Bosie:

I have 2 dogs (my girls) a 12 yr old Irish Setter (red setter as some people call them) & a 5yr old English Setter Saffron, she's black & white. I bred Bracken ( the Irish ) & at one time had 3 of them, really lovely dogs. I've had Irish Setters since 1976 when I got my first one. Had dogs all my life & can't imagine life without a dog. Everyone's pets sound lovely & don't they just make you laugh & cry sometimes.

Valentine is my love cat, he was a Valentines gift from my OH last year and he (valentine not OH) can do no wrong!

This was my blog entry, Valentine vs OH over Christmas
Valentine finds the Sky box very warm, comfy and cat friendly. However his paws block the signal from the remote much to my husband's annoyance.
Warm cat was unlikely to move and neither was husband with remote so it was a stand or should I say sit off!! Needless to say hubby lost, got up and gently moved paws enough to allow changing of channels - a win-win situation!!

                    Oh they are all gorgeous.

My cheeky dog is a jack russell who gets up to all sorts of tricks! If you say to her 'what did you do'? she runs to the scene of the crime then rolls over and plays dead!

She's a rescue dog, and we think she is about 2 years old, her name is Suzie and I love her to bits, really don't know what my family would do without her, she has helped us laugh our way through hard times

I have 1 dog now, a jack russell called " Dotty" , she super soft and lets my cat "Ruby" do anything , including push her from the prime spot in front of the fire, she's 11 now and is just about coming out of her puppy phase, lol
my cat Ruby is as mad as , she hates the phone ringing and tries to bite it, she sleeps on the top of the t.v and she begs for cheese !!

took me 4 years to convince my OH that we should get a cat, I started with the "I want a cat" plea, this changed to "I want a puppy" then the "I want a pony !"....this one worked the OH said "get a cat !!"

don't tell my daughter, she really does want a pony as well as a cat! I want to get chickens, have almost convinced my OH on that one, but have been waiting for several months for him to clear a space in the garden, which he promised he'd do.....

1ST 2 cats..Took on two all black brothers Splodge n Cole.....nick named The Worm and skinny 'cos he cant sit still and Brupbrup who's always talking had them 3years now

3RD...Then another black cat turned up one day Tartan/Mr T named 'cos he had an old tatty tartan collar on but it disappeared after about 3 wks who made a bed on a very expensve piece of fabric on the dining room table one day and l didn't have the heart ot take it off him lol...actually he was a bit of a tough guy and l wouldn't have dared back then lol..also in a bit of a mess coat and scars wise!!..should see him now can see ya face n his glossy coat lol

4th....And now we seem to have gained another Lettuce ('cos he used to sit in the lettuces and watch us craftin in the conservatory)....has a collar on and comes and goes but seems to be spending more and more time with us he eats everything the others leave and a few of his own meals and has made a bed on the sofa in the kitchen...nooooo l dont want another furball!!

But l'm a soft touch where cats are concerned lol but we do seem to attract black cats lol.....mmmmm no comment!!
