spur of the moment

I worked in the same playgroup for 10 years and left this year as I'd had enough of the job and found a job working in hobbycraft which fitted in with my new found love of crafts
I have kept in touch with the playgroup and go back and visit
I promised I would go in today as it was party day and they got talking about their christmas do which is tonight
they said there were some spare places and would I like to go
now I'm not really a girly night out sort of person but although I love my job at hobbycraft I really miss the girls at playgroup I'd known a lot of them for a long time
so I'm off out tonight !! I NEVER do things spur of the moment so this is a new experience for me
they were so pleased I was coming and usually when you leave you are not allowed to go ( I always thought that was a stupid ideas as just because you don't work there anymore , we are still friends ) so I'm honoured that I'm allowed lol
