  • Quite a scary day yesterday...

My friend and her daughter were involved in a nasty car accident. My friend had to be cut out of the car (luckily she is just badly bruised) and her daughter has a broken arm - not fun for a two year old. We had just all been to playgroup and I was heading back to hers for a sarnie when I saw her car in the middle of the road. Luckily I was able to stay with her until she went off to the hospital (my girls were stars in the car waiting) and I got another friend to have my two while I went up to the hospital. The policeman that came to the hospital said that they were very very lucky to only have one broken arm between them considering the state of the car. The other guy only had cuts and bruises which is lucky considering that he ended up down the embankment in someones garden!
I'd never really thought about the hard work that fire crews and paramedics do but yesterday I was so grateful for them!
Just thought I had to share as I have been up most of the night thinking about it

Thanks - I don't seem to be thinking about it as much today. I'm too busy wondering about my friends elder daughter who is having her tonsils out today. It never rains but it pours!!
