  • poor liitle mouse

Went out to feed the rabbits this morning and discovered that whoever fed them last had finished the food off and had nor replaced the lid on the tuperware box and so that over night it had filled up with water. well that really wouldn't be so bad.....

but (please don't read om if you are sqeemish or of a nervous disposition)

in the frozen water, perfectly suspended in swimming pose was a cute little mouse. (well it's still there coz I'm too squeemish to move it, )
poor thing. looked like a damian hurst

I've got a cracking image of a mouse in suspended animation swimming in my mind!

Sorry, it's not that funny I'm sure. If you are that squeamish about it then stick the whole lot in a black bag to go out with the rubbish (or use the tupperware as a coffin and bury it somewhere....

Oh :-( . One of our friends made me laugh, well nervously anyway. We'd just moved in here, an old black and white place and him and my husband were teasing me about the scratching noises I'd been hearing in our bedroom...and he said 'Ah, you don't want to worry about them, it's when you haven't got mice that's when you've got a problem'. I looked at him, puzzled and he said 'Yep', he said, 'then you know you've got rats!!!'

I have an image of the squirrel in ice age now....In the extra bit where he is trapped in a ice cube and washes up on the beach.
