who else is really feeling the cold ???

hi all, I was just wondering " who else is feeling the cold ". I sit at home, central heating on & I have 3 layers on, 2 pairs of socks & I still feel really cold & most nights put a travel blanket over my legs. Hubby sits there in just a jumper & my mum when she stays just sits round in a long sleeved blouse, what's even worse the really cold weather is still to come. Am I alone ????? cool smiley but because I'm cold.

I am a Softie Southerner and always feel the cold, it drops to 3 or 4 degrees and I am whining lol.

I'm always cold. I've got the heating going full whack (bet my neighbours love that - no need for their heating to be on!).

I've got my dressing gown over my clothes and jumper. I need to go get in the shower, but the window in the bathroom doesn't shut properly so it's freezing in there!

At this moment in time, I have jeans, t-shirt, tracksuit top, my other half's socks and slippers and am also wrapped up in a quilt, I think I am coming down with something (took me 4 flippin weeks to get rid of my cold), I have had earache all day, and now it's spread to my jaw, side of my neck and I have a sore throat ... one that I can only describe as a barb wire throat.

When that happens to me my face usually feels like it's going to explode and my teeth might pop out!

I'm sat here in front of the fire with the gas central heating on too with several layers of clothes and I'm still frozen... I hate being cold!! I have poor circulation in my hands so they're ALWAYS cold, I'm quite often found crafting indoors with my fingerless gloves on

Oh me too, I'm always cold, unlike my DD & DH who always are asking to turn the heating down.

Mind you today we'd all been out & came home (with the central heating on full blast as per usual) and DH lit a fire in the snug because we were all so chilly - so nice not to just me for once. Brrrrrrr

We can do without those suggestions. I have invested in thermal vests and longjohns this year!!!!!!!!! Not stylish but brilliantly warm.

just to cheer you up a little i am stil trying to thaw out from the in door market me and my hubby do this morning at 8.00 it was minus 4 tonight on the way home it had warmed up a little to a sweltering minus 2 lol the frost from last night still has nt melted before we get tomorrows .

my OH is in shorts and t shirt too, he hates the house at 'girls temperature' heating on full lol

I did my first outdoor fair this Thursday just gone. I had to dress Victorian but there was no way that I was going to be cold for anybody. Underneath my lovely long dark blue velvet skirt and jacket (with white Victorian style blouse of course) I was wearing wooly tights, my DH's purple and grey ski socks, my DS's thermal leggings from when he was 8 years old, my thermal vest and DS's ski socks with the toes chopped off over my arms under the blouse and jacket! Oh yes then there was the full length coat and russian style furry hat. I may have looked like the Michelin man rather than my usual size 10 self but I was really really warm!
