What is the most EXPENSIVE item/order you've ever sold?
A necklace & earrings set - huge coral and turquoise chunks with sterling finishings sold it last week for £52.
Have sold many ranging between £30 - £45 and I'm always open to a bit of bartering but that was one I made ages ago and I paid quite a lot for the beads so I wouldn't compromise on price.
The woman that bought it came back an hour later and spent another £30 and has placed several orders for more expensive stuff. But the weird thing is that she doesn't wear it - she just stores all her jewellery in pretty boxes under her bed . . . . . but who am I to complain?
Bestest ever one was not craft related, but when I worked at B&Q and a guy came in for a lawn mower, he ended up ordering one of the ride on ones and also a 'shed' to keep it in, £3k later..... (as I didn't work in the kitchen/bathroom showroom bit, I didn't get commission... rather miffed at that)
Craft wise, well the only one that I can think of was when the other half's cousin came round last week and had a rummage, she picked out £65 worth of stuff (obviously she got mates rates, but I still got £40 out of her)
Oooh just remembered another one, sold a beaded poinsettia last year and 3 bookmarks to the same person, was about £42 or so.
