As part of a health kick Im cooking for me and my parents once a week from Dr Gillian Mckeiths book, You are what you eat.

I made the chickpea burgers last night, chickpeas, kidney beans, coriander, garlic, carrot,tahini,bouillon powder, followed all the instructions.
But the burgers didnt seem to cook.It says to cook til lightly golden which they were, they were hot in the middle but still squidgey, not like a burger.

I just wondered if anybody had made these and had the same experience?
