Ooh I used to watch it, but I got too creeped out, I always felt like somebody was breathing down my neck when it was on, you're right though, the hype is what makes it fun to watch.
I remember when they came to Halifax Piece Hall, and other places in Halifax, including the Design House when my brother worked there

I was a fan until David Wells got replaced by the plonker that does it now...Brian whatshisname? Whenever Yvette asks him something he does his level best to change the subject.....and talk about non-sensical! Needs a good kick up the rear to get him going me thinks. I like the guest medium - just a pity they won't replace boring brian with him, lol.

I watch it too but like the last person said my fav was David Wells, I don't like the new bloke much either. When anyone asks him a question he seems to try & avoid answering it & if Yvette says anything he almost falls over himself agreeing with her, saying that he wasn't too bad last night. I'm taping tonights as I can't stand all the adverts inbetween & hubby & mum are downstairs watching Spooks. What did anyone think of Dereck Acora ???. Be afraid, very afraid

I stopped watching it mainly because of the new medium. Much preferred David Wells but I did like it when Derek Acorah was the main man. This new one just makes you jump without anything having happened, really annoying. And he didn't seem to come up with many names either. I enjoy watching the 3 day special ones still though...but I've missed loads of it now, whereas I watched it every week without fail before, so I think I'd better start having a look see if I can watch some repeats.

Ha ha! Did you see it the other night when Boring Brian did his Derek Acorah take off and got dragged into the room? What was that all about then? He is so fake it's embarrassing, but I still watch it for the laugh.

well loved it last night, that electric machine ( can't for the life of me remember its proper name ) was a bit scary , don't know if I'd want to be in the same room as it, changing a light bulb with the switch still on scares me !!!
I have to agree Brian is bringing the whole show down and isn't a patch on David , who got more results than any of the other meduims . Brian seems to be possessed by the spirit of Derek Acorah that or Derek gave him acting lessons !
The guest medium is getting some pretty acurate hits, hopefully we will see more of him in the new series

                roll on tonight ...........................

Is most haunted the one with Yvette Fielding?

I saw and loved the one with Paul O Grady at the Cappuchin place with all the corpses, sooo spooky.I think i missed one last night with Coronation people.

Seahorse - yeah it's the one with Yvette Fielding and her hubby, Karl Beattie.

We're totally hooked on Most Haunted - our week has been planned around watching the live show or recording it to watch later lol (sad I know) but I have to admit that Brian is too much of a "yes man" for my liking, he seems to just go along with whatever Yvette says and doesn't seem to get very much.

I did like David Wells though, and also Gordon Smith but found Derek Acorah quite irritating - he's a good actor!!

My hubby is a medium as are a couple of close friends so the subject of Most Haunted does crop up in conversation quite a lot in our house. Personally I like the programme for the entertainment factor and to see new places that we could consider visiting in the future (I really want to go to the Edinburgh Vaults) but I tend not to take what they 'find' very seriously.

I do agree though that watching the programme, especially if you're in a room on your own and it's dark, or whatever, can leave you feeling very uneasy!!

I'm sorry but Most Haunted is the biggest load of TOSH I have ever seen.

Don't get me wrong I do believe and we used to avidly watch the program until the time they went to Pendle Hill. Yvett was nasty to the spirits and that was when the rot set in for the programe. I'm sorry but you should never prevoke them no matter what. Derek was also reported found cheating on the info about certain venues.

My Oh is very into ghost hunting and his brother and him are in a ghost hunting group. They have been to a few of the sites that most haunted have viseted and don't get half the things that are shown on the programe.

This live show is from an Asylum at Denbigh in Wales and it hs been reported that they are going to perform a seance and an Exausisum on the Whitches that haunt there.
They realy shouldn't be medaling with these things.

                      Sorry I've ranted enough .

Please Veiw the programe as pure entertainment and nothig else.

My sis in laws mum told us how her sister speaks to dead people.
She doesnt make a big thing of it because she thiks people will think she is balmy, but im fascinated!!

One story was, the lady and my sis in law and her mum and others went on holiday to Italy and stayed in an old hotel. The lady was stood at a window and my sis in law went up to her and asked 'what are you looking at?' the lady replied 'all the soldiers bringing in the dead and wounded' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Apparently the hotel had been used as a hospital in a war and the lady could see all the soldiers walking in.She says she see's it like a film!

I only watched the last hour last night. Long enough though to see Carl and Stu playing silly beggers in the freezer! How obvious was it that Stu was the one moving the trolley that Carl was lying on, ha! And did anyone see the shock on boring brians face when Yvette caught him in her torch light? He very nearly jumped out of his skin, which makes me think he was the one making all that 'ghostly' racket! What a farce.

I really think they should get rid of Brian - I think he's one of the worst members they've had on the team since the programme started.

Personally, I don't see how anyone can see Most Haunted as anything other than entertainment - a farce to increase tv ratings.

Don't get me wrong, I am totally intrigued by all things spiritual/mediumistic when it's genuine, but this programme seems to get more 'fake' with every show

The sad thing is, people and shows like this give those genuine mediums a bad name. I did try to get on the Most Haunted forum yesterday to tell them, but you have to go to all the rigmaroll of joining up etc etc, before you can, so I didn't bother. If you read the posts on there you'll see that our opinions are shared unanimously!
