  • Smelly Shoes

No really, it's not as bad as it seems. Well, almost !

We have a newish pup - 4 months old and really quite adorable - but he loves to lick my shoes.

    Preferably the insides of them.

Even more preferably while I'm wearing them, which takes some doing, but he is persistent !

Now, this doesn't actually bother me (although I'm quite sure it should) however my wonderful OH is not so enamoured, and says it makes my feet smell !?

So I ask: What is a girl to do and who is it best to let down - gorgeous bundle of fluff pup; or gorgeous bundle of not-so fluffy hub? Oh the dilemma......

My dog is obsessed with licking my feet, I'm really ticklish too!

My dad once dipped his finger in whiskey and let Susie lick it, her reaction was sooooooooo funny (it was a bit cruel) her face crinkled up and she sneezed, but she never tried to stick her nose in his drink again!

I suffer with 3 boys and, lets be honest even the 2 girls at times!
Smelly trainers, they get them damp and smelly and errgh

I can put those in the machine but even so still not good.

I heard about putting them in the freezer, I bagged up 3 pairs and popped them in, 2 days later, as I had not been given a time indication I guessed it!

I removed them and yup 2 where all good! no smell! the third pair, it returned a tad, no one else can smell but I bloody well can pew!

My dog had a real foot festish when she was a pup and is still very licky if given the chance. When my clients come to the house in the summer wearing sandals she greets them all by licking their toes!

Her trick as a pup (and one she grown out of thank goodness) was any shoes left lying around that had laces would be picked up, taken outside through her doggie flap and swung around & around by the laces. Guests would go to leave and never be able to find their shoes!

Well obviously nobody could let down a gorgeous fluffy pup could they?! Apologies to OH but he'll get over it - or the pup will - before too long.
