  • How to bathe a cat

    1. Thoroughly clean toilet.

    2. Lift both lids and add shampoo.

    3. Find and soothe cat as you carry him to bathroom.

    4. In one swift move, place cat in toilet, close both lids and stand on top, so cat cannot escape.

    5. The cat will self agitate and produce ample suds. (Ignore ruckus from inside toilet, cat is enjoying this)

    6. Flush toilet 3 or 4 times. This provides power rinse, which is quite effective.

    7. Have someone open outside door, stand as far from toilet as possible and quickly lift both lids.

    8. Clean cat will rocket out of the toilet and outdoors, where he will air dry.

    Sincerely,
    The Dog

I tried to read this out loud to DH but couldnt cause i was laughing so much. It definatly made my day, especially I now have this vision of my Bill (my cat) being washed in the loo and Jake (my dog) supervising.

I'm loving all these moggie stories on here today! Feeling a bit down after a bad nights sleep but this has made me smile!

My OH is away and when he's gone I have to use the Cat for body heat or I freeze. Normally he just curls up at the bottom of the bed and keeps my feet warm but for the last two nights he's taken to actually getting in under the covers and sleeping with his face in mine. I could probably just about cope with the bad breath (wouldn't notice once I'd dropped off) but the snoring is horrendous not to mention the dribbling on my pillow!
Thank god OH is back tonight. The cat's back in with the kids!
