Hey Dee - that sounds great. What does your job involve? Where is the Curve? I am out of touch with Leicester geography these days. Good luck with the new job.

Oh wow Dee, that sounds great! Is the Curve that great big, sparkly, shiny new building next to the new John Lewis? If so it does look fab - I must make an effort to get into town and have a nosy round (the haberdashery department of John Lewis is a bit tempting as well! How will you cope working so close to that?? )

It's just within customer services, but i have always wanted to work in theatre! I applied so much for jobs in wardrobe when i left uni but to know avail, then suddenly i decided to see if they were looking for jobs here, and they were! It's actually not near john lewis but in the newer (developing quarter....) area of town off charles st, down rutland st (quite nr train station) It hasnt actually opened yet for large productions but there are alot going on to do with big organisations etc. Saw my first public dress rehearsal today for a shakespeare-was very good!
Although RB lady, the building is still very big with lots of glass!!!!
As it's a new concept the actors don't use a stage door, so fingers crossed, will meet some as they come to reception!!!-woo hoo!!!
Is all quite exciting! beats my old job working for wetherspoon....dum dum dum....!!!

Sounds great Dee and I hope you enjoy it. I too keep meaning to get into Leicester - I can get a bus from Uppingham. So perhaps you and I and Cathy could meet up some time (although organising might be as difficult as organising a craft fair!!).

Ooh, I've not seen that then, must get in and have a nosy! (I've avoided it for the last few years - as I avoid any kind of shopping experience with two small boys in tow - I know, I'm a coward! )
And it would be lovely to meet up again!
