what is rep-power?

Rep power is calculated on :

- how much reputation has been received
- how many posts you have made
- how long you have been a member


The green blobs are your reputation. 2 scales..

If peterart was to rep me he'd pass a power of 8 (almost, % involed here)

did someone give me rep? I can't see how it works on this site.

Just wondering if there is an explanation anywhere on the forum, it's not like it's a big deal... just investigating vBulletin.
