It could be stress or tiredness that has caused it... or too much eye strain. Maybe you should take a break from the forum/your crafting/anything else and have a nap!

I don't think there is much of a cure though if it happens regularly botox apparently might help!

They are horrid. Afraid I don't know how to get rid of one. Have you been doing a lot of close work and making your eyes tired? Perhaps a rest would help them.

Aw what a nightmare! I had that earlier in the year - probably not what you want to hear but mine lasted a whole month Think it might've been stress related but not sure.

I bet that's a relief, it is really annoying having that sort of thing.

twitchy eye is most commonly caused by tiredness and stress/anxiety. Gentle massage on your eyelid might help, very light pressure.

I get this quite often, usually just before, during and after a migraine.

                        Oh no ! its catching..

Valium ?! LOL - maybe a tad extreme... ? In the end I just took a bit of time out and sat cuddled up to my little lad while he watched Ben 10 (anyone who has young kids will know how intoxicatingly relaxing it is to snuggle up to their little warm bods!) then I sort of dozed... then it just seemed to go so the advice to rest was probably good !

I'm in the 'twitchy eye gang' too. I get it when I'm tired. A couple of months ago I had it for about a week. It drove me mad and I thought there was something really wrong. "OMG!! Have I got a permanent twitch?" but it went after a few early nights.

That's reminded me - I do need to get my eyes tested.
