How do you advertise your blog?

I love reading other blogs and updating my own. I'd really like some more followers though, how do you get more people to follow you?

Are there any other sites where you can list/advertise your blog?

Its better to use some catchy signatures for your new blogposts. that will bring some random readers.

One trick that bloggers use to get followers, is to offer a 'giveaway' prize draw to those that join your site. It's definitely one way of getting followers and it works, but I haven't tried it yet!

I'm having the same problem! No one seems interested in what I have to say LOL, I have recently registered on blogcatalog and someone has started following me since registering there!

I'll have a look at yours and follow and you can do the same with me if you like mine! Got to start somewhere!
