Well………………….it’s up and running. I’ve done what I said I wasn’t going to do, and gone into the beadsales market! I’m going to serve a niche market of serious beadweavers though - there are enough shops out there supplying the mainstream beading requirements, and I don’t really want to get into the ‘cutthroat’ business side [...]

Peter it's fantastic, what a brilliant idea. I'm going to keep an eye on your kits, I thought I might have a bit of a bash at one, just to see whether I have any dexterity, or, whether God had run out of it, when I was born

I'm still really keen on the workshop idea but I thought this would be a good introduction (just to make sure I'm not wasting my time or yours)

Great!! I wish I could get my act together to start selling online instead of just playing around.

              Congratulations Peter,

Weaving was what I learnt first when attending my first jewellery course but I didn't have the patience for i! I have followed your threads with interest and love your work.

I hope your new venture goes well for you and who better to advise and sell to other serious beadweavers!

Thank you everyone. I spent today ordering some very cool stuff, which I should have in 2-3 weeks..................I'm in the middle of designing the kit from hell - think 1000 piece jigsaw, and I'm trying to get a beadweaving workshop organised in Wakefield..................that's like taking the ballet to a Man United game. We are getting a new Art Gallery, we have a 'cultural quarter', we have pedestrianised areas, we have a Sculpture Park, we also have a city full of neanderthals who wouldn't know a pastiche from a pastie.

Most Cities are full of neanderthals. Lets face it, if they became interested in your product it would bring its own problems. I'm sure it will be a success. From what I have seen of your site it all looks beautifully professional. Good Luck
