I'm not sure if 9 bags in 5 months represents and ongoing business opportunity...but good on her! Clever idea.

What if the bottom biodegrades halfway home ? !!!

I have seen these type of bags around for years, but well done to her for getting the publicity.

It looks like she's using bread bags as well as carrier bags, come to think of it a lot of frozen food comes in those type of plastic bags you could probably use them as well.

          Only if you bury them

I wonder if clingfilm would do the trick... that stuff is stronger than iron if you roll it up and try to pull it apart

          erm, is clingfilm biodegradable?

I use to do this many moons ago, when there were more bags than needed roaming around.
Now the bags are too flimsy and degradeable.
A tote bag is easy to make and you can recycle old clothes, curtains etc,
Have to admit I cary a bought Bag for life in my bag.
just havent got time to make tote bags haha!!

She needs to get out more if she's identifying the bags in her bags from the colours so well......
