  • Custom request for all woodworkers

    Hi everyone,

I have rather a strange request and wondered if there was anyone who worked with wood that would be able to help with a custom item, as I don't have any of the tools to make it myself.

I am looking for square piece of wood with a circle cut out of the centre, the circle doesn't go all the way through the piece of wood, only about 3/5 of the way down.

I have included a sketch with measurements on below.

If anyone is able to make the item it would be great if you could get back to me with a price, including p&p.

    Thanks,

    Kev

What is it for Kev? I ask because that could determine what kind of wood is used.

          Hi Pete,

Honestly, I'm not too fussed. It will be used as a base for a turntable for creating 360° product shots. The turntable will sit in the centre and both pieces will be covered so you won't be able to see it. I'd like something solid and long lasting though, if that makes sense.

          Thanks,

          Kev

Oooh, would the bearing fit within the centre circle? If so, that would be great, thanks
