No wasnt expected at all told me at 4pm. Owell im only 34 ill find something. Wont worry to much until im eating bread and water and down to 7 stone

I have been there, with my husband following 6 months later, a double blow.
Now we work for ourselves and wouldn't look back.

Sometimes these things happen for a reason - grasp every opportunity with both hands.

I am so sorry to hear you have been made redundant,not a good start to the new year. I have been made redundent twice in the last 5 years so i can sympathise with you a whole lot. I am 56 now so not too much hope for me. You stay positive and lots of luck with the job search. Hugz from me.

Oh thats a shame, I really feel for you, have only been there once myself, but I opted for it.

Other half is currently living under the redundancy threat, the first lot got their notice this week, and it looks like he's been saved for another month. It's the uncertainty that's killing him, he just wants to know either way so he can get on with it.
