  • Submitted my first Self Assessment return!

    It's all finished!! Hooray!

    And not as painful as I thought it might be!

    And (good news) a small rebate coming my way!

            You are just showing off Si, but congrats anyway. Must get mine done as I too will be due for a rebate - I think I am treating it as a savings account!!!!

                you do realise, don't you, that Moira Stewart won't be checking your tax return - it'll be some grumpy tax return person who is fed up of looking at the same form over and over again

                    Well done Si, that's a weight off your shoulders now! If you are entitled to get money back it comes within a month, I seem to remember, hopefully in time for Christmas.

                    Am I the only one to have done it back in July? (well admittedly my accountant did!) Mind you I want to know as soon as poss how much I need to save for January, with January being a quietish month and all, better have it ready!

                      Well done, beat you though filed mine in May and was due a rebate, which has not turned up yet!

                      Just done my friends she has to pay a large sum by 31 Jan plus 50% for 2008/2009 and another amount in July 2009. she is not happy about this who would be.
