  • Bookkeeping Software for small craft business

I am trying to find a bookkeeping software for a small craft business to assist when submitting tax return. Any advice would be helpful.

    Hi Richard.

Don't know how small your business is but we have been submitting our tax return on line for years and all they require is a running credit and debit balance sheet to attach with your submission. No need for an expensive softwear system we just set it up on the computer and it does the running total for you.

Just like Mo when I was crafting I used an Excel spreadsheet to keep tally of income and expenditure, it totalled up the income and outgoings so I then used the totals on the tax form, that way looked the easier way. I had a letter from the tax man saying I no longer need to do a tax return, so I haven't done one for a couple of years now.
