  • Insurance when selling my craft items

    Hi
I mostly sell at parties at friends houses.
Since investigating craft fairs I see it is recommended that you have insurance.
Has anyone got craft fair and selling at parties insurance that they could advise me where to get some from?
    Thanks for looking x

Hi, I have my public liability insurance for craft fairs with www.cmtia.co.uk, it's quite reasonably priced but not sure if this would cover you for the parties or not?

I get mine from www.craftinsurance.co.uk. I've found it OK so far, but never had to make a claim, and it's not until you need to make a claim that you discover whether insurance is any good or not! However, Ian Wallace is good at answering any questions you may have.

I'm with SimplyBusiness as one of the market stalls I have done asked for public liability insurance for up to £1,000,000 - it wasn't too bad for the year though - for my trade they asked for under £100 for the quote - give me a shout if you aren't sorted yet as I have an 'introduce a friend' voucher for 10% off for you if you are keen!
