Anyone heard of them? It's a new 'marketplace' site, but UK based, and so far it seems ok. What do you think?

Just reading the terms - they want exclusivity of sale for anything you put on their site......................hmmmmmmmmm.

I think that it sounds quite interesting Peter, but like a lot of these things it depends on who they sign up and what their cut will be!

It sounds interesting enough, and it could potentially work well - I'll be keeping an eye on it

The 'exclusivity' part doesn't worry me as I only make 1 of each design anyway - Etsy also have something similar in their agreement (but most don't take much notice) - I believe it is so that they can claim that you won't be able to buy the products on there anywhere else (so I've heard).

How did you find out about it? It's success is going to be about how well it's promoted, so it is interesting to know how you came across it.

          Hey everybody!

Just so you know, you don't have to be exclusive to Boticca.com (you can chose to be if you want). Most sellers currently on the site are already on several other marketplaces such as Etsy.

In the sign up form, it asks whether you would like to be exclusive or not.

I found out about them through Twitter (they have as many followers as ASOS!). What about you?

They are on facebook too. I've been following the events on there - some lovely work.

The Boticca website finally went "live" this Monday gone, some impressive stuff on there. I can imagine them to be quite selective on who gets put on the site though, most things seem to be priced well into the hundreds, some even thousands......no £3 earrings on there

I've been following Boticca on Twitter for a while now, after the person who runs it started following me.

Yeah, if you look at the signup form, they ask to see samples of your work... not a band thing though because you don't get the junk you would find on Etsy...

Found a bunch of items sub-£100 by filtering by price ...

You should apply to sell on their site ... your stuff is cute

Ive just found a bracelet for £120, with £10 p+p! I dont think many people will be able to afford that kind of price with the credit crunch and that.
I like to make things - usually a mess!
Please look at my stuff and let me know what you think!
