  • Car stickers/advertising

    HI

I hope someone can help, I am after some stickers for my car, either to go in the back window or possibley along the side of my car (although not sure about this yet) to advertise my business and website. Does anyone know where to order these from and roughly how much they cost. Oh and whether they actually had positive effect on business?

    Any advice welcome.

    Thanks
    Becky

Hi - I realise that this question was posted some time a go, but if anyone is still interested re car window stickers for advertising purposes, I found a pack on craftycomputerpaper. You design on your computer then print it out. The pack comes with instructions. I think it was about £8.50 plus P&P.

I will let you know how I get on with my pack.

Or take a look on eBay... don't know how good they are or anything but there are often listings like this or similar.

I got mine from Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5096905 They are very good, easy to apply and very quick delivery from the states. I bought the 1 line decals so I can't comment on what the 2 line decals are like.

Just some input on whether you might find them effective or not. Quite a while ago I had my vehicle windows tinted then had a sign firm do my rear window with my NLP practice advert. The ad cost about £40 which I didnt think was bad for a company to do it for me and its attracted 3 definite enquiries that I know of.

What I like about a vehicle ad is that its working when you're not - my 1st enquiry was from the garage owner when the vehicle was in having some bodywork done - 2nd enquiry was when we'd gone to the Citizens Advice Bureau and a guy was waiting near the vehicle for us after we came out wanting to ask Qs and the 3rd enquiry was when I was just parked up on a day out

Admittedly, that advert's for therapy but I'm glad I had it done, you just never know

I used these last year and they're very easy to use and apply, as long as you can reverse your image.

They did fade in the sun after a while, but at that price, it's worth giving it a go and seeing if it has any effect before maybe spending a lot of money?

Sam from Incywincy recommended hippy motors and I got a banner for my back window. They are very reasonable and Angela who does the stickers is really helpful.

I got one a year or so back from E-Bay that goes right across my back window and from what I remember that really wasn't expensive either.

I thought about getting a car sticker, but a couple of weeks ago I had an incident where some scary man didn't like the fact that I overtook him (on a duel carriageway and he was doing 50 mph!) and decided to pull across the road and get out of his car and try and open my door. Anyway, it's made me very reluctant to put anything on my car that will identify who I am and where I live etc.

                        Sorry to be so negative!

Your personal safety & security is a really good point

I havent put my address on my vehicle advert and my fella recommended only putting my landline tel number, not my mobile, so that you're not hassled by hoax or strange calls whilst out and possibly in sight of the caller
