Does anyone else sell on Artfire?

Although I haven't sold anything yet, I am liking it so far but was wondering if I'm going to get much success from it.... and if anyone else does?

I like the stats page where you can see how many people have looked at a particular item, if they have found it through artfire or google and who has clicked to your website, blog, facebook etc through your market hub.

So far I've had 53 people look at my items but no sales, is that bad do you think? Out of all those people no one bought anything LOL Just not sure if the statistics are working on my side and whether I should give it another month or so.

There are no listing or selling fee's, it works out about £6 a month for the shop so thats not too much of a waste if I don't sell anything for a few months I guess. Just feeling a little dis-heartened iykwim?

To be honest, I think you might do better looking at the UK/European sites (misi/folksy/coriandr etc).

I think Artfire is still very much geared to the US buyer and once you factor in international postage, it's hard to compete, especially at the more affordable end of the market.

Without wanting to sound too critical, you might also want to look at brightening up your photos - I really don't think they're doing justice to your pieces at the moment.

Good luck, whichever way you decide to go.

Thanks George, I definitely need to brighten my photos, I'm really not a very good photographer!
