  • Getting Fed Up With Not Being Able To Log Into My Mr Site site

So I posted on Tuesday about how I couldnt log into my site, (http://www.craftsforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=25895) they appear to have changed my password, but also "dont recognise my details" when copied and pasted from the password reminder email.... not helpful. Replied to this email and explained the situation but no reply. Getting rather fed up.

I get that the mailbox may not be monitored but the email didnt say that, and not being able to log in I cant get to help - anyone got any ideas?

I was hoping Anne would see my last thread, but no such luck, and she's not pm-able.

    What should I do?!

    Hiya
I've sent mr site emails in the past by replying to their emails and they didn't go through for some reason.
It might be a good idea to start a new email directly to them, they're usually pretty good at getting back if you contact them directly through their site.
Hope you get it sorted soon.
If all else fails, you could always give them a ring - don't think it's cheap though.

Yea, thanks, I emailed them yesterday... sent it to the sales email, thinking they must check that one!

Nothing yet, but will give them half a chance before I call them (possibly from work, if its a premium number, lol)

Had a quick check on saynoto0870 - and MrSite aren't listed, which I suspect is because their 0905 tech support number is a proper 'premium rate' one - rather than merely a "misleading" 0870!

I've had an email from them, saying I can now use my original activation code.

            Except this doesnt work either

Emailed them back, but now I guess I'll have to wait another 3 days for a reply!!!

              MrSite

When I experienced problems with my MrSite someone told me to visit their Forum. I managed to resolve the problem myself but I did do a quick search for a MrSite Forum and managed to find some really useful tips from other users.

I originally set up a background, didnt like it so changed to a different one and for over a month, whenever I tested out the contact form, it was directing me to my original background and logo!!! I emailed and emailed and each time I was told it was a technical error on their part and would be resolved but it took several weeks.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Hope you get it sorted, so frustrating. I can't log in to mine at the moment because yesterday i switched over to Google Chrome and Mr Site won't work with it which is a pain in the butt as I like the new google and want to keep it. At the moment I can access my site from my hubby's computer, but that's not idea & if he wants to upgrade to Google Chrome too I'm stuck!

                    Hi
I am sorry that I was not on here at the time of your problem so I could help with this. Also, I thought I was PM-able!. It is the best way to get in touch with a query (although I can't guarantee 24 hour response like the support team) as I can't be here every day/week as I have so many forums to check. I will check my account/profile here and add my details to make sure I can be PMd.

Are the log in issues with the log in sorted now? If not, I will look into this.

Again, sorry I was not here to help earlier.

                    Best wishes
                    Anne

                      Hi there
You can always keep two browsers on your machine - one for using for search and one for Mr Site. I know it is a pain but with so many browsers being updated and released constantly, all with their own different way of doing things, we can't make Mr Site instantly compatible with all of them. It does take time.
The technical team know that users want Google Chrome to be supported and hopefully this will be a future development task for them.

                      best wishes
                      Anne
